“PROFESIONAL BALLET PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST, 2021 EDITION” by Ballet Magazine Romania, is the one and only media project in Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) that promotes ballet photography and artists with works in this field, and is addressed to any photographer who has in his portfolio works that illustrate the beauty of ballet art.

JUDGES includes: Ovidiu Dragoman – Founder & Manager of Sibiu Ballet Theatre, the first independent ballet company in Romania; Alin Gheorghiu – Ballet Master & artistic advisor for the ballet company of the Bucharest National Opera; Boris Nebyla – Founder & Artistic Director of the European Ballet Grand Prix, former soloist of the Vienna State Opera; Daria Chenikova – International ballet photographer based in Moscow, who works with artists from Bolshoi Theater and Mariinsky Theater; Mihail Cratofil – Photojournalist, working with Romanian Cultural Institute, is the former photographer of the Bucharest National Opera; Oana Ioniță – Founder & Manager of dance program „Dance Motion”, „Young Artist Grand Prix” competition & “Dance Planet” ballet school; Vivia Sădulescu – Ballet critic and historian, with a master’s degree in cultural management and a doctor’s degree in Theatrology.
