Michele Olivieri
Michele Olivieri, historian and critic of dance and ballet, is registered with the National Association of Theater Critics (ANCT) and the Association Internationale des Critiques de Théâtre (AICT). He collaborates in Italy with the magazines "Sipario" and "L’Ape Musicale". Since 2019 he is Director of the Teatrino Nino Rota Tersicoreo in Milan. He is an Honorary Member of the "Dance Project Charles Jude" Association at the "International Exams of Classic Dance" sponsored by the "Serge Lifar Foundation", and is Ambassador of the National Historical Dance Company and Honorary Member of the "Enrico Cecchetti National Dance Association". He graduated in "History of Dance" with the qualification for the role of Master and Examining Judge, took part in a two-year course in Ethnocoreology, and was certified in the "Theoretical and Practical Refresher Course" at the Ballet School Accademia Teatro at the Scala. He has published the following books: “La Danza alla Scala”; “The dance in traditional theaters”; "The Nutcracker"; “Alla corte dei Balletti Russi” and edited Walter Venditti's “History of dance”. He is artistic consultant of the "International Ballet Festival of Rapallo". Among the awards received: Natalia Dudinskaya Trophy, Lindsay Kemp Trophy, Diploma of Merit from the Liliana Cosi and Marinel Stefanescu School of Classical Ballet, and the Lifetime Achievement Award received in the presence of Carla Fracci.
