Ballet Magazine Romania, the most known ballet publication in Central & Eastern Europe is deeply concerned about the escalating conflict in Ukraine and the impact that this is having on choreographic artists and the cultural & creative community in the affected regions.
We appeal to all parties to pursue peaceful means and options to resolve this in the name of the choreographic community values that we share. War and violence can never be the solution, as they inevitably result in humanitarian and cultural tragedies and the violation and denial of human rights including the right to live and create in a safe environment.
“Professional Ballet Photography 2021” the greatest ballet photography media project in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), has added more then 70 photographers participants, among them many from Ukraine
Back in 2021, Ballet Magazine Romania has started the second edition of the most important ballet photography project, and many participants were gathered from all over Ukraine. The beauty of choreographic art and the beauty of photography are at core value shared by this project, including and involving photographers, ballet dancers and many other ballet specialists, all over the world.
As a regional publication rooted in the pursuit of promoting choreographic art, we recognize the importance of lifting our voices together to proclaim solidarity with the Ukrainian choreographic community, calling for peace.
Ballet Magazine Romania team would like to express its full support to our Ukrainian friends, ballet dancers, teachers, ballet students, choreographers their families, and all people affected by this unfolding tragedy.
Together, let us use our voices, and our platforms to renounce war and demand peace.
