The Royal Ballet School is excited to offer dance teachers the opportunity to attend the complete Series 1: Inspire for the first time over a six-day period in London. All six seminars will be delivered sequentially from 12-17 July 2021. This is a unique opportunity to complete the entire series at our Upper School, Covent Garden studios.
A limited number of residential places are available for course participants at The Royal Ballet School’s Jebsen House accommodation in Covent Garden, less than five minutes’ walk from the Upper School in Floral Street.

Series 1: Inspire is a comprehensive series of six seminars for classical ballet teachers devised and delivered by The Royal Ballet School. These innovative events will support continued professional development (CPD) for dance professionals from all teaching backgrounds and societies.

All seminars are non-syllabus based with each day including both theoretical and practical elements. The seminars begin with exploring good teaching practice and the foundations of classical ballet technique, before progressing to explore various elements of ballet technique and artistry with emphasis on the teaching and learning process.
As well as practical classes, the seminars cover an array of pedagogical topics relevant to the dance teacher of today. Teachers can gain valuable CPD experience by taking part in this inspirational series of seminars.
A certificate of participation is provided after each seminar and on completion of the six seminars, a final certificate of completion of the Inspire programme is awarded.
